What you’ll be doing

As a Sr. Frontend Dev allocated 100% to development, you’ll be both the brains and the muscle behind a lot of these front-end features, optimising and extending our products. We’ll rely on and respect your recommendations when it comes to the appropriate technology to help implement new features and products, developing code libraries to share amongst other projects as you go.

Hotelchamp provides hotels with a digital marketing platform to improve their website conversion. It’s a solid online platform that provides hoteliers with a pretty darn good set of tools, but we just can’t resist adding new features, constantly testing and turbocharging our product with machine-learning.

Your objectives

  • Developing –  100% of your time

  • Extending and optimizing multiple Front-end applications

  • Recommend appropriate technologies to implement new features

  • Develop code libraries that can be used for multiple projects

  • Build, deliver, and iterate to help scale projects

  • Creating new methods for improving efficiency of the Hotelchamp product

What you bring to the team:

  • Expert knowledge and a borderline obsession with JavaScript
  • 5-8  years of experience in Front-end development
  • You can write if HTML5 and SCSS is your mother tongue language
  • Experience in building single page application
  • Knowledge of how to make proper tests for your javascript
  • Experience in building complex but scalable applications in ReactJS
  • You know your way around ReactJS ES6 and redux
  • Used to writing code in a clean and readable way
  • You developed in teams and know your way in GIT
  • You understand the terms DRY and KISS
  • Ability to translate mock-ups into seamless web pages with perfect visual and functional elements
  • Ability to find creative and innovative solutions to the new development challenges daily
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English

You’re open to be based or to relocate to the area of Groningen
